Hello. I am Pastor Beam. My family arrived in Medina in January 2003.
Please allow me to introduce myself… |
|
My family originally hails from Connecticut. It was in Enfield Connecticut, my hometown, where the famous 18th century revivalist, Jonathan Edwards preached, “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” - the signature message of the first American Great Awakening. Raised in a Christian home, I spent 5 years in a Christian School. Yet it was on July 31, 1979 at the age of 18 when I “called upon the name of the Lord” and was saved. After graduating from Bob Jones University, I was leading our church’s college and career ministry when I met my wife, Kristin - a Pensacola Christian College graduate. We were married in January 1990. After spending 13 years as a Christian School teacher, God called me to be a Pastor. For 5 years we lived in Pennsylvania, where I pastored the Independent Baptist Church of Pleasantville. Through God’s providence, we moved here to Western New York and are excited about what He is doing as we seek to abide in Him. We have four children; |

Besides our children, Kristin and I are interested in outdoor activities such as biking and tennis. Baseball is also enjoyed by much of our family. |
